A BROWN BEAR FAMILY BEFRIENDS LAIKA DOG, AND THEIR BOND IS CAPTURED BY INTERESTING DRONE VIDEO

We've seen a fair share of unusual animal friendships over the years. Some are just head-scratching, while others are adorable. Surprisingly, a group of fuzzy friends seen on camera appears to fit both. In the Russian Kamchatka region of Ust-Kamchatsk, a Laika dog, which is similar to the Siberian husky, was observed interacting with a bear family.

Originally recorded in 2018, the video has been ascribed to a family searching for their lost dog. But according to local news sources at the time, the dog in question was a stray puppy that locals knew. Locals were worried that bears had hurt the puppy when it vanished into the woods, but they were mistaken. Months after the puppy disappeared, a drone took video footage of the forest, which sits next to a fish processing plant that animals visit to eat leftovers.

Through the woods, the happy gray dog can be seen trailing its new family of three bears. He is excitedly circling them and playing about, as is usual of a puppy dog. Experts assume that the mother bear must have welcomed the pup into the family because they appear to be mainly unconcerned about their companion. The bear joyfully attempts to pin the dog down, but the dog is so at ease with its "siblings" that it even plays rough with them, nipping one of them on the ear.

Others enjoy the more wholesome read of a lifelong friendship that transcends species, while others think the dog may be bothering the bear family, which gives rise to a "Can someone pick this guy up, please?" Hopefully, these boys are still enjoying each other's company and going on adventures in the woods.
