BILL GATES BELIEVE ONLY THREE JOBS WILL SURVIVE WITH THE AI TAKING OVER
As AI continues to transform the world's functions, Bill Gates had a very pessimistic outlook for the future. If you somehow missed the most recent technological developments, some employees are becoming a little anxious about the growing use of artificial intelligence.
According to billionaire Bill Gates, even while it might not be precisely like the dystopian futures depicted in popular sci-fi movies, it could still be a less than desirable scenario for us ordinary mortals as AI develops. According to reports, the software tycoon has issued a warning that as technology grows more pervasive in society, many vocations may just become obsolete.
But Gates has been pretty confident that there are three jobs which AI will keep its hands off. Wonderful for them, but at least there are interesting reasons as to why their jobs aren’t under threat like the rest of us.
Coders
Although AI is capable of producing code, it is still far from ideal. People will need to be able to keep an eye on it, correct errors and faults, and create even more sophisticated systems. We, therefore, need people to develop and keep an eye on additional AI. In a way, it was poetic.
Energy experts
Gates has also hinted that the energy industry is now too complicated for AI to manage effectively. To have a fully automated industry, the nuclear, oil, and renewable energy industries need too much experience and planning. To manage infrastructure, comprehend industry difficulties, and create for the future, engineers, researchers, and technicians are anticipated to remain in high demand.
Biologists
AI can be a useful tool for biologists, as it currently is in the medical field, but it lacks the inventiveness needed for scientific advancement. Experts will, therefore, probably only use it to analyze vast amounts of data and diagnose illnesses in the meantime. Gates has acknowledged that he might be mistaken, but the way this rapidly developing technology is applied will probably change daily life in a manner akin to that of the industrial revolution and the internet. And we can all say we knew AI was only a trend and would never take off if, by some miracle, it doesn't become a mainstay.
