PEOPLE SPECULATE THE SAME THING AFTER TRUMP DECLASSIFIED JFK ASSASSINATION FILES
The confidential documents about the killing of former 35th President John F. Kennedy have been made public after over 60 years. At approximately 12.30 p.m. on November 22, 1963, Lee Harvey Oswald, who was camped out in a sixth-floor window of the Texas School Book Depository, shot and killed the 43-year-old, also known as JFK, as he rode in a motorcade in Dallas, Texas.
Alongside Texas Governor John Connally, his wife Nelly Connally, and Jacqueline Kennedy, the Democrat was seated in the rear of an armoured Lincoln convertible vehicle. Over the years, he became the focus of several conspiracy theories and the fourth president to be assassinated. The world can now read about what has grown to be one of the most significant events in modern history as President Donald Trump issued an executive order on January 25 to release classified information on his assassination, which occurred only five days after he took office.
The 78-year-old Republican, who would have been 17 when JFK was killed, released 80,000 pages of documents yesterday, March 18, bringing an end to the 22,397-day wait to learn what police had written about the murder. Despite the Trump administration's insistence that they wouldn't be, the materials he made public were substantially redacted. Many documents were unreadable due to poor scanning or fading, and some had handwriting that was impossible to read. Above all, though, everyone has pointed out that the information has already gained widespread recognition because it was made public by the Biden administration two years prior.
One person said on Twitter: "I just ran the JFK files through Chat GPT. Biden released the same s***. MAGAs were played once more. A second typed: "ReDACTED versions of files that have already been made public unredacted are included in the JFK Files. As in the case of the Epstein Files. We've been taken advantage of." A third, however, responded, "WOW! Did Trump just make public all of the JFK documents that Biden made public in 2023?
Before adding: "The only difference? The top of Biden's says '2023 Release' and Trump's says '2025 release' and the word 'secret' is crossed out in Trump's release.
"I haven't gone through every file but at least a huge portion of these are all the same files that Biden released."
