NEW PHOTOGRAPHS FROM DIDDY'S RESIDENCE SHOW PRECISELY WHAT AUTHORITIES DISCOVERED DURING THEIR SEARCH
Photos captured by officials at Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs' residence in LA have been made public and reveal precisely what was found during the search. Combs' trial is still in progress and has sought to provide a clearer picture of the rap mogul’s existence and connections. The 55-year-old was detained in New York last September and has been in custody ever since.
He is facing accusations of racketeering and sex trafficking through force, fraud, or coercion. Combs has refuted all allegations made against him. Before his arrest, Homeland Security agents conducted searches of his properties in Miami and Los Angeles, capturing photos of their discoveries.
A new trove of photos was released by federal prosecutors as of June 19, as the trial was stalled due to the Juneteenth holiday. The photos were taken during the raid on Combs’ mansion in Los Angeles' Holmby Hills neighbourhood in March 2024.
During the trial last week, agent Andre Lamon from Homeland Security Investigations stated he observed 'hundreds' of bottles containing baby oil and lubricant while he and fellow agents inspected the property. He informed the court that he discovered 200 bottles of baby oil in Combs’ residence, along with 900 bottles of Astroglide.
Additionally, bags with drugs - later recognised as ketamine - were photographed as evidence alongside bottles of baby oil arranged neatly in display cabinets. Prosecutors have asserted that the drugs were utilised during Combs' supposed ‘freak off’ gatherings.
A collection of firearms was also captured in images, featuring AR-15 style rifles, handguns, and pump-action shotguns. In a cross-examination of a Homeland Security Investigations agent, defence lawyer Marc Agnifilo asserted that these firearms were secured in the office.
Damien Williams, the US Attorney for the Southern District of New York, claimed that Combs used 'humiliating and sensitive recordings he created of freak offs' as 'leverage' against the victims.
At a press conference in September 2024, Williams stated: “He exerted control over the victims through various means, such as administering drugs, providing and threatening to withdraw financial support or housing, offering career prospects, tracking their locations, and even controlling their physical appearance.” Concerning the large quantity of baby oil and lubricant, Agnifilo stated that Combs preferred purchasing in bulk and engaged in consensual sexual activities.
