THE UNCOMFORTABLE REACTION TOWARDS THE $50,000,000 CONDOM MISTAKE BY ELON MUSK
Donald Trump's "uncomfortable" response to Elon Musk's $50,000,000 condom "mistake" after a reporter questioned the SpaceX founder has been widely noted online. To say that President Trump has had a busy time since taking office just over three weeks ago would be an understatement. Honestly, the 47th President's tenure thus far can be summed up in two words: executive orders. There have been a lot of them.
On top of that, you've got Elon Musk in his government, which certainly provides some, well, interesting moments. The Twitter owner joined Trump in the Oval Office on Tuesday (February 11), with Musk's four-year-old son busy picking his nose.
A reporter asked Musk to publicly retract a claim he made that $50 million worth of condoms were being sent to Gaza in the Middle East when, in fact, it was Gaza in Mozambique. The journalist then questioned, "How can we make sure that all the statements that you said were correct, so we can trust what you say?" In response, the founder of Tesla, who also leads the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), said: "Some of what I say will be wrong and should be fixed.
"I mean, you know, we will make mistakes, but we'll act quickly to correct any mistakes."
Musk also said: "I'm not sure we should be sending $50 million worth of condoms to anywhere, frankly. I'm not sure that's something Americans would be really excited about."
Trump's response to this question is undoubtedly intriguing; at one point, he was observed smirking, shaking his head, and raising his eyebrows. In response, the founder of Tesla, who also leads the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), said: "Some of what I say will be wrong and should be fixed.
"Just look at Trump's body language and movements in this video—it's clear that he's uncomfortable with Elon Musk," tweeted @CyberPunkRoad, reviewing the incident. He gave America to Israel on the one hand, and to a crazy person like Elon on the other. There was nothing he could do.
"When the reporter was asking Elon to correct the record about condoms for Gaza, which were instead for $50 million of condoms to Mozambique. I zoomed in on Trump‘s face. And he cracks me up more than you’ll ever know," another person on the social media platform commented.
Meanwhile, a third person penned: "Trump's reaction to that question is priceless," while another remarked: "Trump was looking angry there."
