COMEDIAN JOE PERA HILARIOUSLY NARRATES VIDEO OF BEATLE TAKING FLIGHT IN SLOW MOTION
Stand-up comedian Joe Pera narrated a slow-motion video of different beetles taking flight while sporting his distinctive Buffalo, New York twang. The video was captured by Ant Lab's Adrian Smith.
Like in earlier Ant Lab videos, each insect took off while perched on a level surface. Its distinctive flight mechanism involved extending wings before raising a small body into the air. The flyers feature the following beetles: the grapevine, the oriental, the Japanese, the checkered, the picnic, the jewel, the tumbling flower, the tiger, the clay-coloured leaf, the soldier, the longhorn, and the jewel beetle.
