BAD DRIVER FAILS IN THE US AND CANADA
It's time to watch these idiots in bad driver fails in the US and Canada.
With the festive 'silly' season approaching, it's a good time to see what happens when people are reckless, irresponsible and foolish on the roads.
Most traffic accidents are because of human error. Whether it be from inexperience behind the wheel to distractions from mobile devices or intoxication, people can get themselves into a world of trouble.
With the sheer volume of vehicles on the road, even during the lockdown of 2020, it's inevitable cars will crash. A recent study suggested that many drivers were travelling faster than usual because of the less traffic, which became the leading cause of collisions with deadlier consequences.
Immediately after the restrictions were lifted, accident rates climbed sharply, which makes sense. Here, in sunny South Africa, we had an intense alcohol ban during the first few levels of lockdown. As soon as the booze ban was lifted, we had a 27% increase in 30 days of fatal collisions because of intoxicated driving.
As we approach the festive season, it's time to take stock of what's important and to take care out there. Being vigilant of those around you may give you enough time to spot a potential idiot on the road and avoid a collision with them.
Be safe, guys and gals, it's the wild west out there!
