BMX RIDERS ROLL DOWN CEMENT RAMPS ON ROLLER COASTER BICYCLE DESIGN
Being Pro’s in the skill of BMX, riders Scotty Cranmer and Matty Cranmer, along with drift driver Ricky Hoffman, came up with a creative way to get over more tricky obstacles.
In combining the works of a roller coaster and a BMX, the team welded a bespoke “roller coaster bicycle” that lets riders roll themselves over obstacles. Each member testes out their design on a set of stairs and a few ramps.
After the first try, they noticed that the frame was bending. The group decided to add a metal frame support, which held up during the next set of tricks.
