BOSTON DYNAMICS ATLAS ROBOT DELIVERS TOOLS AS NEEDED TO BUSY WORKER

A handy Boston Dynamics Atlas robot showed off its talents on the job site, bringing a forgotten tool bag to a worker on scaffolding. The humanoid robot cleverly used various fragments to create a sort of ladder that it could climb with tools in its hands. 

“It’s time for Atlas to pick up a new set of skills and get hands-on. In this video, the humanoid robot manipulates the world around it: Atlas interacts with objects and modifies the course to reach its goal—pushing the limits of locomotion, sensing, and athleticism.”

Here is a behind-the-scenes video of the ad. The ad was very clever, but this particular scene violated several OSHA rules. Glitch artist Hasser Kun pointed out certain irregularities.
