JACK THE RIPPER FINALLY REVEALED AFTER 100% DNA MATCH

A historian claims to have discovered a 100% DNA match, proving that Jack the Ripper's identity has been established. It was confirmed that Jack killed at least five women in cold blood nearly 150 years ago, wreaking havoc on London's streets. The "Canonical Five," which include Elizabeth Stride, Mary Jane Kelly, Mary Ann Nichols, Annie Chapman, and Catherine Eddowes, are his victims.

But Jack's true identity has long remained a mystery, despite the fact the individual would have died some years ago now. So far, sixteen men—from regular guys to even members of the royal family—have been proposed as possible suspects. According to The Jack the Ripper Tour's website, there are numerous theories as to why these men might have been the serial killers, ranging from personal ties to being one of the victims to the discovery of diaries and other artefacts.

Even though there isn't much proof, we have known for a long time about Ripper's actions and his five verified victims. Russell Edwards, a historian, is crucial to this complex case because he purchased Catherine Eddowes' shawl and tested its DNA. According to the Mirror, semen tests revealed a distant relative of the man who Edwards has claimed was a distant relative of Aaron Kosminski, one of the Ripper suspects, and the blood matched that of one of Eddowes' descendants. The claims were taken from Jack the Ripper: The Definitive Reveal, the follow-up to his first book, Naming Jack the Ripper.

"He is more than just a suspect now. Finally, we can hold him accountable for his horrible actions," Edwards wrote. "I've found Jack the Ripper in Aaron Kosminski." According to the Daily Mail, Edwards has since engaged a legal team in the hopes of an inquest following a 100% DNA match.

In the meantime, Eddowes and Kosminski's descendants are pleased with this course of action. It is hoped that Kosminski will be legally connected to the killings, which will hopefully provide the families with some clarity. "The name Jack the Ripper has become sensationalized," Karen Miller, Eddowes' great-great-great-granddaughter (try not to read that to the tune of Busted's Year 3000), told the Mail. As this well-known figure, it has been recorded in history. "What about the individual who committed this and their true name? For the victims, justice would be served by having the actual person legally named in a court that has the authority to weigh all the evidence. We have the evidence. To legally identify the murderer, this inquest is now required.
