PLASTIC SURGEON REVEALS POSSIBLE PROCEDURES SOME CHANGING HOLLYWOOD FACES COULD HAVE DONE
The procedures that a plastic surgeon believes are responsible for the changing faces that seem to be occurring everywhere in Hollywood have been made public. Celebrities like Lindsay Lohan, Melania Trump, and Donatella Versace have been revealing new looks in recent months, giving fans the impression that they have recently undergone cosmetic surgery.
Even today, even though cosmetic surgery is popular among both the general public and celebrities, there still seems to be some stigma associated with it. Dr Dennis Schimpf, a South Carolina-based plastic surgeon, has revealed how such looks can be achieved. The surgeon described how cosmetic procedures for the jawline, cheeks, and lips are becoming more and more common among celebrities these days.
"One thing that is consistent right now, especially with Hollywood celebrities, is the volumization of the face," Dr. Schimpf stated in an interview with the Daily Mail's FEMAIL. In essence, these celebrities have primarily increased the volume of their lips, jawlines, and cheeks. It is evident that their lips have lost their natural shape and have taken on a more sausage-like appearance.
In addition to better jawline definition, they have more cheek volume than they did some years ago. "Sculpture and various injectable fillers are examples of fat grafting products that can be used to increase this volume."
Of course, natural ageing is a thing we all have to deal with, some of us more than others. However, the surgeon clarified that there are ways to undo the effects of ageing, especially on the face. "Everyone loses volume in their face with natural ageing," Dr Schimpf said. "Our underlying bone structure has undergone resorption, which means that the chin, cheeks, and jaw all start to shrink and experience resorption. We also start to lose soft tissue," he added. Changes in several components of the soft tissue, such as collagen and hyaluronic acid, are the cause of this. lastly, skin laxity results from the skin's loss of elastin.
"The face loses volume and appears aged as a result of all these natural ageing factors."
Although there are undoubtedly advantages to cosmetic surgery, Dr. Schimpf points out that occasionally things can go wrong and leave a person's face looking a little "weird." He clarified, "A strange appearance tends to result from the contrast between some parts of the face looking much more youthful than other parts."
