HAILIE JADE REVEALS SURPRISINGLY STRICT RULE SHE HAD FOLLOW HAVING EMINEM AS A DAD

Hailie Jade, the daughter of Eminem, has revealed a little bit about her early years, including the one thing she never did. The 28-year-old Hailie just started her own podcast, Just A Little Shady.

She talked candidly about her high school years and how being raised in a well-known family affected her behaviour in the first episode.

Eminem was in his early twenties when Hailie was born in 1995. The rapper has since talked about how bad things got in the early 2000s after struggling with drugs and alcohol. Eminem revealed that he almost overdosed after taking some blue pills without knowing what they truly contained following his initial admission to treatment in 2005. He had taken methadone, a synthetic opioid, it turned out. It was the equivalent of 'four bags of heroin' that he took. He told VIBE magazine, "My doctor told me the amount of methadone I'd taken was equivalent to shooting up four bags of heroin."

Although it's unclear if Hailie was influenced by Eminem's battles with substance abuse, the podcast host revealed that she didn't want to be connected to anyone who drank when she was a teenager.

"Everyone else was drinking and attending parties, but I didn't. She said, "I was so naive to all of it."

"I went to a football game and thought, 'Am I missing something?' It was really cold outside and everyone was having a great time." I said, "You're drinking," as one of my friends approached me and spoke directly into my face. I'm literally horrified. That's when it struck me.
