Parents just want to make sure that their kids have the best experiences and knowledge to set them up for a successful life. Some parents just need to know their kid will be safe while others take on the: "From 8am – 2pm, he's your problem, not mine" attitude.
Some tend to be a bit overprotective and are known as helicopter parents. These parents are the source of horror stories similar to this poor teacher's:
"I gave a student a failing grade on a test because she didn't study and opted not to answer most of the questions. The student's mother came in to argue that her not-so-studious daughter should only be graded on the questions she actually answered – which would give her a perfect score"
James Corden felt the same way and wanted to make sure that if he sent his son to gymnastics, that he would definitely be a competitor in the next Olympics. The only way to make sure of this was to attend a class himself. Let's just say, we aren't so sure gymnastic prowess runs in the family....
