WOMAN DEFENDS HER HUSBAND AFTER HE SHOT THE KIDNAPPER OF THEIR 14-YEAR-OLD DAUGHTER

The wife of the man who might spend the rest of his life behind bars has praised him as a hero and claimed that his actions were taken to protect his family. Aaron Spencer, 36, was first taken into custody on a first-degree murder charge after he was allegedly found shooting and killing a man in an Arkansas car who was with his daughter, 14-year-old, who had gone missing.

Michael Fosler, 67, was the man who was shot and suspected to have kidnapped the 14-year-old. On 11 July 2024, he was charged and booked for rape and child stalking on the internet. He was freed after posting a $50,000 bond, and a December court appearance was scheduled.

Heather Spencer, 37, Aaron's wife, has stood by her husband and defended him, claiming that Fosler had targeted, groomed, and sexually assaulted their daughter. The couple was awakened on October 8 by their dog barking, which they thought was strange, and that's when the shooting happened.

To their dismay, they discovered that she was missing when they went to see how she was doing. After reporting their 14-year-old missing to 911 right away, Aaron got in his truck and started looking for her.

Aaron eventually located Fosler in his car with his daughter inside, and they began chasing each other. After Fosler's vehicle apparently crashed, Aaron allegedly shot the 67-year-old in Lonoke County, Arkansas, after being attacked and failing to harm his daughter. Last week, the Lonoke County Sheriff's Office issued a statement endorsing the incidents.

"A confrontation ensued between the two adult males, culminating in a shooting," the statement stated. Deputies opened an investigation right away. Aaron Spencer was placed under arrest after Michael Fosler was declared dead at the scene.

Aaron was initially accused of first-degree murder, a felony that carries a maximum life sentence in jail.

After paying the $150,000 bond, Heather stated on a GiveSendGo fundraising page that she was able to bring her husband home. Additionally, she has requested additional funding in order to assemble a legal team. She insisted that the legal system had failed her and her partner as she described the events in writing on the page.

"We let the justice system do its job," the writer wrote. The monster that injured our child was charged right away and then freed even faster after posting a $50,000 bond. In December, he was scheduled to appear in court on multiple felonies related to his treatment of our child.

"I'm starting this campaign with a goal of $50k but I understand now it will likely cost much more," she said in closing.

"My spouse has always defended his family and nation as a combat veteran. Without a doubt, if my spouse hadn't located our child, she would not have returned home. Please assist us in keeping him where he belongs—at home with us. We welcome donations of any kind, but we also welcome prayers of any kind.
