3D STREET ARTIST TRANSFORMS CEMENT BLOCKS INTO JAW-DROPPING ILLUSIONS

Portuguese artist, Odeith, has become well known for his master skills in illusion art. By only using spray paint, he's able to add visual depth to flat surfaces. 

You will not believe how realistic and believable his works are. One of his latest triumphs transforms an isolated cement structure, located in an abandoned warehouse, into a wrecked school bus. Online viewers have been blown away by his magnificent work and illusions.

Odeith's bus appears perfectly at home in the mostly empty environment and, at first glance, simply seems like a discarded vehicle sitting in a deserted space. It is so realistic that, only when you look at the before photograph of the cement structure, that you will realise that this isn't a vehicle at all. 

Odeith, at first, started teasing his followers by posting a photo of the cement structure, asking people to guess what he'd be changing it into.

Eager fans didn’t have to wait too long for the big reveal to see what he'd come up with. Only three days later, he revealed his masterpiece to his fans. 

One might even say that the graffiti artist's attention to detail is unmatched. In his masterpiece with the bus transformation, he even went a step further by painting the proper shadow of the bus on the wall, according to how the sun filters through the open roof.

Odeith shared photo of the work in progress which shows how he manages to build up the illusion by using black spray paint to create outlines. Also, to create his magnificent work, he mark points where perspective lines should converge.  Yet, even with seeing how the work comes together, the precision with which Odeith paints takes his work is beyond words.

There's no doubt that Odeith may be one of the top illusionist in the graffiti world today. And, not only has he created a masterpiece out of a cement block, but has also created various of jaw-dropping 3D art. Scroll down to see more of his work.
