ANCIENT UNDERWATER CHINESE RUINS | LION CITY

You have probably heard of the lost city of Atlantis, right? Well, it is not the only underwater city on our planet, the only difference is you don't have to search for this city because its location is already known.

'The Lion City' is located in China, scientists found out that this ancient city is over 1300 years old, however, it was submerged not so long ago. It happened in 1959 when the local government completed the construction of the hydroelectric power station, as a result of this construction this city went underwater completely, alas a lake appeared with an area of 573 square kilometres which is now called, 'Thousand Island Lake'.

Don't you think it is strange that the government would flood such an ancient place? We do.
