CELEBS CRASHING CORPORATE ZOOM MEETINGS
Meetings. Let’s be honest, most of them are just plain boring. At the beginning of the pandemic, things got a bit exciting when Zoom was introduced into our lives. We could sit in our pyjamas, in bed, while we discuss financial forecasts and other important stuff.
But, just like any normal face-to-face meeting, it eventually got boring as well, and some meetings would feel like they were never going to end.
PressReader is a massive international company that hosts most of the world’s online and physical publications. They realised that their employees were becoming bored, and that the ever increasing demand of working and living through a pandemic was taking its toll.
So, they teamed up with awesome celebs and asked them to crash their employees meetings. Whether they wanted to just chat to them about what kind of meat they’ve got on their barbecue, like Facebook’s Mark Zuckerberg, or share what they’ve been up to during the pandemic like Will Smith, it was all in the name of fun.
Even Canada’s Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau, and Tesla founder, Elon Musk, joined in on some of the meetings.
While some employees managed to hold their pose and listen intently to what The Rock or Tim Cook was saying, others couldn’t believe their eyes and had to double check.
