CYCLIST DIGITALLY DRAWS CREATIVE SKETCHES ON HIS BIKE USING GPS ROUTES
As the world of training and technology are evolving more and more creative things come to light especially when it comes to cyclists and runners who are making art with the Strava exercise app.
The internet has seen several creative ‘art’ formed by cyclist and runners who run or cycle many miles to trace their GPS paths and sketch out images such as Darth Vader, and even a marriage proposals.
Australian cyclist Pete Stokes is part of this community creating unthinkable drawings with his bicycle and GPS app. The 45-year-old cyclist, who is considered a human Etch A Sketch, has created a collection of digital drawings over the course of hundreds kilometres. Stokes' portfolio features several creative drawings. Some of his drawings involves a fox that sits anchored by its fluffy tails as well as a terrifying dragon.
The cyclist are also not shy to venture into the world of portraiture. In fact one of his most impressive creations is a rendition of Ludwig van Beethoven that also includes his iconic wild hair. Stokes dedicated this drawing in honour of the composer's 250th birthday.
