Do bigger boobs equal bigger tips in the service industry? Here it is, put to the test.

The bigger boobs equal bigger tips myth came out of the service industry, specifically by waitresses etc. It might seem completely bizarre and more of a stereotype than anything else, but has a test ever been done to confirm or...well... bust it?

The hosts from Mythbusters, Kari Byron, Tory Belleci and Grant Imahara, decided to put this test into practice to solve this mystery once and for all. How they pursued this, was to get into the service work environment by having Kari Byron work as a barista at a coffee shop for a week, and every two days she would increase her breast size.

They did the test from tiny boobs right through to very large and, as you may have guessed, the large boobs got Kari Byron 30% higher average tips in comparison to smaller boobs.

The Mythbusters hosts say that there is an evolutionary reason for this, that males associate bigger boobs with greater reproduction potential.
