DRONE FLYOVERS REVEAL GHOST TOWNS FROM CORONAVIRUS LOCKDOWN
Incredible footage from drones reveal the quiet, immobile cities caused by the Covid-19 Coronavirus lockdown.
Most people won't get the opportunity to go outside to take photographs and video of the state of the majority of major cities around the world in this current bizarre time we're living, thanks to the Covid-19 Coronavirus. However, there are no laws against a drone being outside, provided the operator is flying from a safe and responsible area, such as a balcony or rooftop, which allows for some epic aerial drone footage.
Being under lockdown, the specific rules will change from state to state and from country to country, but most of them go by a few rules that apply to all. These include limiting social contact and preventing the masses from going out of their homes for unnecessary errands, practising social distancing and encouragement of citizens to stay at home until the lockdown period is over, or until further notice, with the exception of seeking medical assistance and food.
The results of all this are empty streets, closed non-essential shops, restaurants and cafe's. Take a look at the video below from the YouTube channel Vice, it's a compilation of drone aerial shots showing how ghostly these major cities appear to be during this time of lockdown due to the Covid-19 Coronavirus.
