GEORGE CLOONEY INJURED IN MOTORBIKE CRASH

George Clooney, the very definition of a 'Silver Fox', has been rushed to hospital after a scooter accident in Sardinia. An Italian news station reported that Clooney's scooter collided with another vehicle in the Costa Corallina area of Sardinia. Local daily newspaper, La Nuova Sardegna, reported that Clooney’s injuries are not serious, but that he was taken to the John Paul II Hospital emergency room.

The police claim to have no inside knowledge of the scooter accident but the hospital reported to NBC News that Clooney has already been discharged. His wife, Amal Clooney, rushed to the hospital and it has been reported that the pair left the hospital together in a private car. I mean, what would Nespresso do without him?

Clooney is reportedly filming TV drama Catch-22 on the Italian island. Reports claim that Clooney was on his way to the set when the car crashed into his scooter. A photo published on La Nuova Sardegna website shows a mangled black scooter on one side of the road, with a dark blue estate car facing the other way at an angle across the central reserve.

This is not Clooney's first close call on a two-wheeler, he was injured in 2007 when a car bumped his bike while he was crossing the road near the Hudson River from New York. The 2007 accident ended in Clooney suffering a broken rib and scrapes, while his passenger, ex-girlfriend model Sarah Larson, broke her foot.

But on a side note, can you imagine being the person that runs over George Clooney! We hope that person has terrible coffee forever!
