When it comes to fast food outlets, they’re not the fanciest of places, are they? But, then again, how much time do we really spend inside of them?
If the new and fancy McDonald’s in Hong Kong is anything to go by, we’re about to become sit down regulars.
McDonald’s Next is the vision for a new type of fast food outlets that we can expect to (hopefully) find around the corner from us in the near future.
It not only offers healthy alternatives to the oily, cholesterol-bomb American version, but it also has cool new items on the menu as well.
The interior is stylish and the bright yellow and red lights are a thing of the past. Don’t worry, the golden arches will always remain.
Glass, stainless steel and oak finishes add a contemporary feel to the place and makes it more inviting to sit down and enjoy your meal.
You can make your own salad at the massive salad bar and choose added toppings to your burger. Anyone for truffle sauce instead of good old Tommy K?
If you’d like to finish off on a sweet note, there’s a whole menu of delicious desserts waiting to be ordered.
Hang on, does this mean we won’t be able to order a large Big McMeal with fries and a Coke anymore? Don’t worry! At the McDonald’s Next in Hong Kong, you can still get the best of both worlds and order from the “old” menu as well.
