GOLFER GETS UNEXPECTED GROUP VISIT AT TEE OFF
When you are a golfer and trying to hit some few balls or play a course, you wouldn’t expect to be interrupted during your time to play or especially during tee off. However, when golfing in Australia, it’s a whole new ball game.
One day during tee off at a course in Australia, golfer Wendy Powick was suddenly faced with an unexpected sort of golf hazard. Moments before Powick took her swing, a curious gang of local kangaroos decided to rush onto the fairway, standing and stairing curiously right toward her.
They then gathered briefly in front of the tee box, gazing at Powick as if to watch her take her shot.
One might think that these kangaroos who gathered in front of Powick were golf fans and that they made their round cheering on fellow golfers. But not long after coming to give some support, they all decided to hop away, allowing her to take her shot without getting in the way. Powick hardly seemed to mind the interruption and wrote on her post "Absolutely gold, And only in Australia."
