Alicia breaks down how she did her stunts for popular movies such as Underworld: Awakening, Total Recall where she doubled for Kate Beckinsale, Wonder Woman where she doubled for Gal Godot, Avatar where she performed a lot of the jumping and falling movements for different characters, Interstellar where she doubled for Anne Hathaway, Divergent where she doubled Shailene Woodley, Transformers: Dark Side of the Moon where she partly doubled for Rosie Huntington, Ender's Game where she doubled Asa Butterfield, and Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D where she doubled Adrianne Palicki.
Vela-Bailey began her career as a gymnast at a very young age, but after an unfortunate elbow injury, she switched to dancing. As a dancer, she became one of the Pussycat Dolls in Las Vegas and while doing the show, she got a call to audition for James Cameron’s Avatar which she worked on for 3 years. From there on, she became an A-list stunt star.
