MOST INSANE WATERSLIDES IN THE WORLD
It’s hot outside, and you’re up for some adventure, so there’s no other way to go about this... but down.
Nexus recently made a list of the most insane waterslides in the world, and we are considering changing our holiday plans just to see if we can get in on the action.
Here are some of the most insane waterslides in the world:
The Aquaduck waterslide can be found on the Disney Fantasy Cruise Liner. That’s right, you can go down a waterslide on a cruise ship while at sea in the middle of nowhere.
It offers a four deck drop and actually makes a turn on the side of the ship as well. Two people can go together, which adds to the fun, because you also get to see a bird’s eye view of the ocean as parts of the slide are uncovered and transparent.
You can also go down the slide at night, adding to the thrill of it all.
The Leap of Fatih slide on the Atlantis Paradise Island in the Bahamas starts at the top of a Mayan Temple.
It seems pretty harmless until you are rocketed through a shark-filled lagoon before you finally land at the bottom, hopefully safely.
The slide is just over 18-metres long and, if you can keep your eyes open during the ride, you will be able to see amazing marine life as you pass through the tunnel.
L2 is the world’s first double-looping slide. It is located in an aquapark in Austria, and is almost one kilometre high. Before you reach the first loop, you could reach a speed of 64 kilometres per hour, and then it’s on to the second loop.
The L2 is completely enclosed because it can be used in the warm summer and even during the freezing European winter months.
Imagine taking off your ski suit and then slipping into your bathing suit to do a double loop waterslide? Insane!
