The Bob Barker is currently at sea on patrol working with Gabonese authorities to combat illegal fishing.

Bob Barker's captain, Antéo Broadfield says, "Working with the Gabonese authorities, Bob Barker is assisting in the arrest of illegal vessels and boarding legal vessels to ensure compliance and the continued protection of Gabon's vast network of marine protected areas. The Bob Barker takes you behind the scenes to show you the day-to-day operations that the crew undertake in order to assist law enforcement authorities to locate and arrest poachers."

The Bob Barker was established in 1977, Barker says, "Our mission is to end the destruction of habitat and slaughter of wildlife in the world’s oceans in order to conserve and protect ecosystems and species. We use innovative direct-action tactics to investigate, document, and take action when necessary to expose and confront illegal activities on the high seas. By safeguarding the biodiversity of our delicately balanced ocean ecosystems, the Bob Barker works to ensure their survival for future generations."
