STEP INTO MY ART STUDIO – FROM THE 1920S!
This art gallery is no ordinary gallery, while you can't actually walk a mile in the artists shoes, you can see through his eyes.
Tate Modern Art gallery in London has worked with technology developer, HTC, to create an interactive art experience that allows you to both see and interact with the objects and sceneries that inspired the artwork.
HTC and the Tate art gallery have created the Modigliani Experience as a part of the Vive Arts program with the aim of allowing people to experience and appreciate art in a whole new way – specifically, creating the most detailed Modigliani exhibition experience.
This gallery allows you to put on a headset and literally transport yourself into the eyes and studio of the artist using virtual reality technology. It allows you to view Modigliani's studio, two of his late works, Jeanne Hébuterne and Self-Portrait, as well as narrated experiences from the perspective of Modigliani's friends.
This gallery will give you a real taste of 1920's France where Modigliani got his art exhibition shut down due to the then very controversial nude paintings. Today, his exhibition includes sculptures, portraits and digitally recreated versions of his art.
