TAYLOR SWIFT SURPRISES WITH A NEW ALBUM
Swifties all over the world rejoiced when Taylor Swift announced on Wednesday that she will be launching a new album at midnight.
This follows the launch of her 7th studio album “Lover” last year.
The first track to be released from this indie inspired album is “cardigan”.
In an Instagram post on Wednesday, the American singer announced that the entire album consists of 16 tracks on the standard edition, with a physical deluxe edition to include a bonus track called “the lakes”.
While the album will be available for streaming on all the usual online platforms, there’s a limited edition of the CD editions and deluxe vinyl editions for one week and its available exclusively at taylorswift.com
The BBC reports that “folklore” features a more subdued Swift than we’ve met before – and she’s hit on a rich seam of melancholy that chimes perfectly with the times.
