USING A SLINGSHOT TO SINK A HOLE-IN-ONE
It's time to sink a hole-in-one using a slingshot!
We join our favourite challenge-seeking Ozzies for a day on the golf course. As you can tell by the headline, this is not your regular afternoon on with a nine iron and a putter. Nope, this sunny summer's day includes a homemade slingshot.
Yup, it's a pretty simple concept; make friends with the owners of a golf course. Then, convince them to allow you to take over a par 3 for a day or two. Next up, build a homemade slingshot on the tee box.
Now, all that's left to do is apply a litre of suncream and proceed with attempting the impossible.
It may seem simple enough, but how many people do you know who sunk a hole-in-one? And, that's using the right equipment, not a rickety slingshot!
Unsurprisingly, this was not a one-day affair. Nope, this challenge proved more difficult than even these determined men from Down Under suspected. They even asked the groundskeeper to move the hole for them after they changed the elevation of the slingshot.
Ultimately, though, their perseverance paid off, and they finally got one of their shiny yellow balls to disappear into the flags hole. It was joyous!
