VIDEO: APPARENTLY SPIDERS AREN'T SO TERRIFYING IF THEY ARE NAMED LUCAS

Spiders are the creatures of nightmares. They are hairy, they have too many eyes and way too many legs, and let's not even get started on the fangs. Regardless of whether they come in bright pink or blue, the answer is yes, they are still ugly, and no, a spider isn't a pet nor do we want to hold your spider... ever!

But, we are prepared to watch this little spider because he is kinda cute thanks to Joshua Slice, who created his own animation called "Lucas the spider". His nephew, Lucas, is the voice behind this furry creature which went viral almost immediately!

He was originally created as an animation test of a character Slice had been working on but it has cured the world's Arachnophobia. We suggest you still don't catch those hairy spiders in the dark depths of the corners in your house attempting to find a spider friend like Lucas!

Maybe sometime soon Lucas will have his very own movie!
