VIDEO: DID YOU MISS THE 2017 TOTAL SOLAR ECLIPSE?

Only people living in North America could see the FULL total solar eclipse on Monday, but I'm sure everyone has heard the hype about it!

This incredible and beautiful sight happens when the moon completely covers the sun and the sun's tenuous atmosphere.

First, the sky will begin to grow darker when it would normally be light and sunny outside. You'll need to get special glasses to be able to look at the solar eclipse because the bright sight is too much for your eyes!

Once you've got those, you wait. Then, all of a sudden, you look up and see an incredible and magical ring in the sky that you might not have seen before!

Unfortunately, other regions and countries around the world may not have been able to see the total solar eclipse, or perhaps only a small part of it.

So for those people, we offer NASA footage of the total solar eclipse that happened on Monday 21 August 2017!

Even though it kinda reminds us of the horror film The Ring – this phenomenon is gorgeous!
