VIDEO: DONALD GLOVER REFUSES TO EXPLAIN THE MEANING OF HIS 'THIS IS AMERICA' VIDEO

The internet has been broken once again! This time, it has nothing to do with Kim Kardashian's butt (thank goodness) but all to do with Donald Glover/Childish Gambino. Not only is he in the middle of filming a Starwars spin-off called "Solo", he also created one of the most talked about songs and music videos in a long time (possibly ever). But whilst he knows damn well he broke the internet, he has decided to torture the world by staying quiet about it.

He refuses to discuss or explain his video filled with controversy and violent images, instead he says that "it's for the people" and that he feels it isn't his place to explain what is going on in the video. In an interview, he elaborated saying: “It just doesn’t feel right or good to me, I feel like it doesn’t feel right to anyone. I made this for the people, just like Star Wars, you can walk away from the movie with whatever you need to walk away with it from.”

Some fans spoke out on Twitter, supporting his decision to not discuss it saying "That piece of art is kind of self-explanatory" and "Donald Glover refuses to explain it so everything is up for interpretation. It’s pretty cool. It could be interpreted as black on black violence. Racism. Cultural ignorance of bad situations. It’s hard to watch but certainly a valuable work."

While the internet continues to speculate what it could mean, Glover is firm on the fact that it is open to interpretation.
