Sorry Grey's Anatomy fans but this one had to be done. We all know that, to some degree, medical TV shows and movies are exaggerated to make it more exciting because, let's be honest, routine wisdom teeth removal is pretty boring.
But, exactly how far-fetched are they? Well, Annie Onishi, a general surgery resident at Columbia University, goes through some of the most famous TV shows and movie scenes to tell you the hard truth of what exactly happens when that patient get wheeled into the emergency room.
To be fair, a lot of the modern day TV show scenes are pretty accurate and getting patients with stuff stuck up their butt is more common than you thought. She even names some of the most insane things she has found in a patient's butt.
