Tennis star, Genie Bouchard, injured her groin last weekend and has resorted to taking some much deserved relaxation time by the pool with her friends. After posting a video on Instagram shaking her booty in a bikini by the pool in Morocco and her sultry shot went viral.
An injury during the Swiss Open forced Bouchard to pull out of the tournament early but she didn't exactly look devastated while she was getting some rehab work in by her luxury hotel's pool. On Saturday in the semi-final match against Alize Cornet, Genie couldn't finish the match due to her injury. She said at the time: “It happened in the second point of the match. I felt stress or pain in my groin, the adductor. But it was getting continually worse and really hampered my movement. I was really hampered but I was still so close to winning the first set.”
After she pulled out if the tournament, Bouchard posted multiple shots of herself on social media wearing an itsy bitsy neon green and pink bikini, sipping on some champagne added with a little booty shake. Something makes us think the rest and recovery time will do her the world of good.
Bouchard is the first ever Canadian player to reach the final of a Grand Slam tournament in singles. However, her game has suffered recently, Genie once ranked number 5 but her ranking has dropped significantly now to 123, a dramatic drop for the star in terms of her performance. Fans flooded the comment section, complimenting her looks, some going as far as saying, “You are so beautiful!” and another said, “you are too pretty to be an athlete, and the model is the right job for you.”
Only a handful of fans commented on her tennis career saying, “Genie I hope you heal up and qualify at the Western and Southern Open!!! I’ll be there rooting you on if so!!!” Soon after her shocking tennis withdrawal, Bouchard showed off her lavish lifestyle on Instagram dressed casually in sports gear as she poses next to the private jet.
Bouchard revealed that she was travelling to Morocco to embark on many adventures including climbing up Mount Toubkal on a donkey in Morocco, south of Marrakech. She also posted an image posing in the sun, captioning it: “Touched down in Africa. I can officially say I’ve been to every continent on the planet! It’s been one of my lifelong dreams. So grateful to have these experiences. In the mountains in Marrakech, Morocco, showing off my new handmaid shirt.”
