Accents can be really difficult to understand, sometimes they begin to sound like a different language even if you are actually speaking English. Every country has their own slang and weird sayings that other people may not understand and the strange nuances and cultures that define each country that makes them different.

Scotland happens to be one of the hardest versions of English to understand, but fear not! The gorgeous Gerard Butler is here to help and explain the weird ways that the Scottish speak English. If a Scot insults you, its probably because they like you. Half of what they say consists of insults so don't get offended! I mean it makes sense, they do have to be mental for men to wear skirts in such freezing weather!
