VIDEO: HOW SOCIAL MEDIA IS CHANGING YOU!

There's no more denying it: social media pretty much runs our entire lives. It doesn't matter how old you are, how popular you are or how technologically advanced you are. Some toddlers even have their own Instagram accounts!

Besides the fact that we spend most of our time on it – scrolling through news feeds, stalking our crushes, sharing funny videos and liking peoples' statuses – social media is changing us in a number of ways.

Mostly, it has changed our mindset and perspective towards almost everything. It has made us interpret everything and overthink anything – and we end up with conclusions we would never have come to before. 

Here are a few examples...

When a girl likes your post, you immediately think she's interested.

When someone shares your post, you think you're the king of the internet.

(Do you see how I said the Internet and not "world" – the Internet IS our world now)

And when no one likes your post, you end up deleting it and curling up in bed to die. 

Think about these things in a real life situation... don't they sound absolutely crazy?

I mean if someone says they like your shirt at the grocery store, you might get a bit of an ego boost. But if they don't, you're not going to crawl into your bed and die of shame!
