This might look like the worst idea ever, but somehow it works. Instead of towing a boat with a trailer, the motorist plopped their boat on an overloaded cargo trailer with only a few straps holding the boat in place. 

Imagine the SUV was forced to stop or turn quickly to avoid an accident.
