VIDEO: JUDGE ALLOWS CHILD TO CHOOSE HIS DAD'S PUNISHMENT

It's a sad fact that judges in court are usually considered to be the bad guys – well, at least by the perpetrators of the crime.

What we often overlook, however, is that a judge is a human being. Often they are kind, and it is not their fault that you committed a crime they have to punish you for.

In this video, we see a judge with kindness. 

A man stands before the judge with a parking ticket. Next to him is his young son, waiting for the final verdict.

At some point, the Judge asks "Who is this little guy with you?". The man informs the judge that it is his son, Jacob. Then the hearing takes an unexpected turn as the Judge asks the young boy to join him on the bench.

He sits with the child on his lap and asks for help with the case. He gives him the options and lets him choose his Dad's punishment. After a sweet negotiation, the judge makes a deal. If the man on the stand buys his son a big breakfast, he will dismiss the ticket.
