VIDEO: MAN PUNCHES A KANGAROO TO SAVE HIS DOG

Lets play 'Would You Rather...". Would you rather punch a kangaroo in the face to save your dog... or... leave your dog to be kidnapped by the kangaroo gang?

If you are anything like us, you would feel nothing for giving a kangaroo a bit of a p*esklap to get our dog back.

Greig Tonkins ran into this exact 'Would You Rather' dilemma when his dog ran off in the bush, somehow managing to get caught in a headlock by a rather muscular looking kangaroo. Tonkins jumped out of his car without a moment's hesitation, approached the kangaroo and gave it a solid slap to the face, resulting in the shell-shocked kangaroo letting go of the dog.

Marco Festa-Bianchet, a National Geographic explorer who studies kangaroos, said that Tonkins was a lucky man because, contrary to popular belief, kangaroos are extremely powerful and normally resort to kicking with their back legs by balancing on their tail. Festa-Bianchet said: "If the kangaroo had done that to the guy it could have disemboweled him."
