VIDEO: REMEMBER WHEN FERGIE KILLED THE NATIONAL ANTHEM... BAD LIP READING DOES

Remember when Fergie sang the American National Anthem at the NBA All-Star Game? Well, bad lip reading decided to dig it up from the ol' archives and do a bit of a remix. To be fair, it sounds fairly similar, if not better than the actual performance...

The whole reason that this performance went viral was because when the camera panned out to the audience to catch the pride and nationalism within the crowd, it caught many NBA players, and even Jimmy Kimmel, trying to hold back a smile and choke back their laughter.

Kimmel called it an "unusually sultry version" of the national anthem, while Fergie responded to the backlash saying, "I've always been honoured and proud to perform the National Anthem and last night I wanted to try something special for the NBA. I'm a risk taker artistically, but clearly, this rendition didn't strike the intended tone. I love this country and honestly tried my best."

But, as Kimmel aptly said, "Here's the thing about taking risks, when it comes to the National Anthem – don't. Don't take risks when you're doing brain surgery, don't take risks when you're driving a school bus or singing the National Anthem. Just regular is fine".

Bad Lip Reading is anything but regular and, even though the public labelled Fergie's performance the "worst national anthem ever", it gets... so much worse!
