Nowadays, there are so many rules about dating. Too many if you ask me.

We see millions of books, articles in magazines, TV shows and online stories that tell us exactly what to do and what not to do. Even worse: we hang out with our girlfriends who reinforce us that those articles about playing hard to get WILL guarantee marriage.

Well, this chick isn't the only one who calls bullshit on the whole thing. 

Not only because the rules are actually pretty stupid and unnecessary, but because they're humanly impossible!

You have to play hard to get, but make sure he knows you want him.

You have wait for him to text or call you first, but not make him think you're ignoring him.

All these rules actually suck! And if they were solid and proven – wouldn't everyone who reads Cosmopolitan magazine be in a relationship by now?

Sure, we were all young once, and we followed all the rules.

But it's big girl time now. And the only dating advice you need? Is to be yourself.
