VIDEO: WHAT THEY SHOULD REALLY BE TEACHING YOU IN SCHOOL

Finally, we think we've discovered the reason for our struggle with adulting. We don't have to figure out how to be a minor, so why do we have such difficulty figuring out how to be an adult?

Here's why: school didn't give us the necessary skills – the lessons that we actually need to learn to survive everyday life as an adult. 

Sure, they teach us how to analyze poetry, how to do trigonometry, how to run around a field and how to identify a plant. But unless you're a teacher, mathematician, athlete or a botanist – how is this going to help you?

It's not going to help you when you have to figure out how to change a light bulb, put a nail in the wall, ace a job interview or tip your waiter! 

To be honest, when you hear the word "tax" as you enter adulthood, it's probably the scariest thing in the world. Why? Because most people have no damn idea what paying taxes even entails!

So we've decided: schools need to introduce a class called "Basic Adulting" – and this video shows us why!
