Just like being bitten by a radioactive spider, editing a Wikipedia page comes with great power and great responsibility – but, just like Spiderman's alter-ego, some people take this responsibility to use for evil.

Wikipedia is one of the first go-to pages anyone looks at before moving onto the exhaustive list of Google results. The funny thing is though that literally anyone can manipulate that information, yet we still use it. Wikipedia does comb through their results and ban any glaringly obvious mistakes but a lot can slip through the cracks.  

There is such an endless realm of information on Wikipedia that it even has a whole archive of funny or weird articles that were removed but just way too good to be deleted forever, one of them being: “Diarrhoea of a genius”. It has over 1 billion edits, across 17.6 million articles, from 27 million users but, occasionally, edits are banned due to their ridiculous nature.
