Maria, from Copenhagen, Denmark, is already a 36-year-old mother to a son – and now she and her husband, Anders, are expecting triplets... Yup, and the chances of getting pregnant with triplets are about 1 in 4,400.
Maria has been documenting her journey while being pregnant with two girls and a boy growing inside her belly at the same time.
“What a journey this has been!” Maria wrote. “From the huge shock of learning, there were three, to people’s reactions, the numerous scannings and checks, and all the preparations and planning for this life-changing event. Nothing like the ordinary, I’m glad we took these pictures,” the mom added. “This really shows the massive growth. It’s strange to have ended up with such a big belly and it’s even stranger that it can stand out like that without falling down!”

Maria was worried she would be bedridden because of the massive weight she has to carry around, however, she is grateful there haven't been any serious complications as yet.
