YOUTUBER MRBEAST GIVES AWAY AN $800 000 PRIVATE ISLAND IN A GAME
Imagine being rich enough to buy an $800,000 private island. Now, imagine giving it away in a game of Survivor... Well, that's what YouTuber MrBeast did.
First things first, MrBeast is a YouTuber who's famous for expensive stunts and giving away tons of money. His real name is Jimmy Donaldson, and he's a 22-year-old philanthropist who has both raised funds and spent much of his own on various charities.
He's also happy to spend money on his friends in many of his videos. He's given away millions in prizes in a variety of competitions that his buddies participate in. In the video below, he's hosts a Survivor-style winner-takes-all competition, with the last person standing wins the $800,000 private island they're playing on.
That is a hellava prize.
The idea is pretty simple, there are 10 contestants and numerous challenges to start with. The loser of each challenge is eliminated and has to leave the island. Eventually, with two contestants left, the eliminated parties come back for a final vote, and winner takes all.
It's almost unbelievable to watch as it's just a bunch of youngsters having a blast on a private island. The idea that the entire island is up for grabs is astounding. You would think it was a prank if it wasn't for the fact that MrBeast is famous for things like the Team Trees initiative. With the help of other YouTubers, he has raised over 22 million dollars in less than a year for the Arbour Day Foundation, which has promised to plant a tree for every dollar raised.
So there you have it, all that's left is to watch the action unfold. So, get out your smelly Survivor buffs and enjoy the show.
