ADORABLE BOND BETWEEN BROWN BEAR FAMILY AND DOG CAPTURED ON DRONE FOOTAGE

Over the years, we've witnessed a fair share of strange animal friendships. Some are just head-scratching, while others are adorable. Surprisingly, a group of furry friends captured on camera appears to fit both. In the Russian Kamchatka region of Ust-Kamchatsk, a Laika dog, which is akin to the Siberian husky, was observed interacting with a bear family. Originally recorded in 2018, the video has been ascribed to a family searching for their lost dog. But according to local news sources at the time, the dog in question was a stray puppy that locals knew. Locals were worried that bears had hurt the puppy after it vanished into the woods, but they were mistaken. The forest, which is adjacent to a fish processing plant where animals frequently consume leftovers, was captured on camera by a drone months after the puppy vanished. Through the woods, the happy grey dog can be seen trailing its adopted family of three bears. He is excitedly circling them and playing around, as is typical of a young dog. Experts assume that the mother bear must have welcomed the pup into the family because they appear to be mainly unconcerned by their companion. The bear joyfully attempts to pin the dog down, but the dog is so at ease with its "siblings" that it even plays rough with them, nibbling on one of them on the ear.
