BEAUTIFUL KALEIDOSCOPIC COLOURS OF HONEY UNDER A MICROSCOPE

Another perspective photographer, Jens Heidler, barely appeared on screen to explain how he observed honey under a microscope and documented his findings in 4K. The results, very similar to his vitamin C experiments, were beautifully varied.

“We hooked up the camera to the microscope and used polarised light to show the amazing psychedelic colour structure of the sugar crystals inside the honey,” explained Heidler.

He then added hot water to the honey to see what it looked like as it dissolved. “I took like 500 videos of those sugar crystals under the microscope and I was totally fascinated but got even better when I started adding hot water to the honey showing the dissolving of the sugar crystals.”
