CHRISTINA AGUILERA BARES ALL HER FRECKLES AND SCARS

It seems that many celebrities are using their platforms to take it all off (yes, we know they have been doing this for a long time... but this time it's different). We saw the powerful video of Demi Lovato posing for Vogue, taking all her make up off in a movement to embrace natural beauty. It appears now that Christina Aguilera has done the same thing for the cover of Paper magazine.

There is no denying she is stunning and is never seen in public without her striking makeup and eye-catching red lipstick with glamorous hair-dos to match, but, Aguilera told Paper that she's at a stage in her career where she wants to "strip it all back". In the interview, she said: "I've always been someone that obviously loves to experiment, loves theatrics, loves to create a storyline and play a character in a video or through stage," she said. "I'm a performer, that's who I am by nature. But I'm at the place, even musically, where it's a liberating feeling to be able to strip it all back and appreciate who you are and your raw beauty." She told Paper that she feels progress is being made in the fight for greater inclusivity and diversity in the fashion and beauty industries.

She made it clear that she won't be so quick to give up her signature bold lipstick but encouraged people to break new boundaries despite the negative comments of others. She definitely broke a new boundary, showing the world her raw beauty that caught everyone by surprise. She has labeled it as her "new transformation" and bares her freckles proudly, even her songs at the beginning of her singing career, such as Beautiful, reflect her strong feelings towards embracing your natural beauty, no matter what.
