MESMERISING 9- FOOT MARBLE RUN OF THE INCREDIBLE NINE-FOOT NOTRE DAME DE PARIS CATHEDRAL
GraviTrax components and other 3D printed materials were used by Masked Marble to create an exquisitely detailed nine-foot marble run depicting the Notre Dame de Paris Cathedral. It took more than four months to build the model, which is scaled at 1:48 to the real object.
This marble run, which is named after Notre Dame, is large enough to occupy a whole ping-pong table! I built it over the course of four months using Gravitrax pieces, adding lights, architectural details, and even some secret marble mechanisms in the attic."
He experimented with smaller versions, such as puzzles, foam, and plastic replicas of the cathedral, to get a sense of how the marble would move through the architecture before finishing this enormous marble run.
"Our Notre Dame models come in sizes of 8, 16, and 32 times larger!"
