THE SECRET SINISTER MESSAGE OF THE ZODIAC KILLER FINALLY DECIPHERED

Nearly 50 years after the Zodiac Killer's murderous rampage, one of his most enigmatic messages has finally been deciphered. Here is what the terrifying message said.

With the combination of murder and eerie cryptogram messages, the Zodiac Killer is possibly the most notorious criminal in US history.

Northern Californians were shocked by a series of murders that occurred between the 1960s and 1970s, and the killer was never apprehended by the authorities at the time. Later, investigators would summarise that the enigmatic murderer had targeted seven victims, five of whom perished from their wounds, while Zodiac claimed to have killed 37 people in notes submitted to local newspapers.

The enigmatic cyphers (encrypted messages) that investigators believed would aid in identifying the murderer were among the most promising leads in their search.

Four cyphers in all, along with a variety of letters, were distributed to local newspapers; many of the encrypted messages have not yet been deciphered.

One of the mysteries was finally solved back in 2020, but authorities and true crime enthusiasts haven't given up on solving the others despite the challenges.

Among the most promising leads in their search were the mysterious cyphers (encrypted messages) that investigators thought would help them identify the murderer.

Many of the encrypted messages have not yet been decoded. A total of four cyphers and various letters were sent to local newspapers.

Despite the difficulties, authorities and true crime enthusiasts have not given up on solving the remaining mysteries, even though one was finally solved back in 2020.

"I hope you are having lots of fun in trying to catch me that wasn't me on the TV show which brings up a point about me I am not afraid of the gas chamber because it will send me to paradice [sic]," the note read. "All the sooner because I now have enough slaves to work for me where everyone else has nothing when they reach paradice so they are afraid of death I am not afraid because I know that my new life is life will be an easy one in paradice death."

Authorities are uncertain that they will ever be able to completely decipher the enigmatic notes, and two cyphers are still uncoded.

Police had one suspect, who will now appear in an upcoming Netflix documentary, even though no one was ever charged with the crimes. Arthur Leigh Allen is the main suspect, but police have never been able to gather enough proof to bring charges against him.

The Seawater siblings, with whom Allen had been involved during their early years, are followed in Netflix's new documentary This Is the Zodiac Speaking as they discuss their first encounters with law enforcement.
